In fact, the Republican members of Congress could nominate someone .... and presumably even the Project for a New American Century could nominate someone (being a foreign policy institute). 1. Members of national assemblies and governments of states; 2. Members of international courts; 3. University rectors; professors of social sciences, history, philosophy, law and theology; directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes; 4. Persons who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize; 5. Board members of organizations who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize; 6. Active and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee; (proposals by members of the Committee to be submitted no later than at the first meeting of the Committee after February 1) and 7. Former advisers appointed by the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

User Details are only visible to members.	Actually, Limbaugh does not have a recognized nomination, no matter what the Landmark Legal Foundation wants to claim. The Nobel Committee has a very specific list of who is qualified to make a nomination - and Landmark doesn't fit it. Kind of like if Perfect nominated Lucky to be President of the US. I doubt that's going to qualify you for Federal Camaign Funding ....

User Details are only visible to members.	Well, lets take a look below the covers here. Anyone can be nominated. Tookie Williams was nominated by some wack job Proffessor. Any non-profit political committee, University, Professor, Scientist, is eligible to 'nominate. The nomination process is a bunch of crap. Rush spent some time on this subject when Tookie Williams used it as an excuse to get a commuted sentence. Al Gore and his cronies did some lobbying to get some 'independent' source to nominate him for the Peace Prize. This is attempt to get some headlines for Gore since he is being ignored in favor of Hillary Clinton and Obama. Rush was nominated to take the headline away from Al Gore and shut the media up. Now Al Gore and his gang have to explain to the world that the nomination process is a crock of s**t and his nomination doesnt amount to a hill of beans.
