And still no answer?" -------------------------------------------------------- Lucky, I apologize as I thought my answer was clear. Based on the above I would call it a flawed organization, in a flawed world, with flawed human beings. No organization is perfect and it is sometimes hard to weed out those who are racist or we we think are racist. Many people in all walks of life hide behind free speech, personal opinion and do not demonstrate any outward activity or conduct which could be called racist even though they may say things that lead us to believe they are. As we know from our legal system it is not what we know, but what we can prove. Again I will say that the NAACP is an organization that has done so much good for our society. I do not agree with every position they support, but one could argue that about any organization.

Broke down and had to walk home, not less then two police men stopped and asked me where I was going and where I was coming from. All because I was wearing my work clothes (raggidy). All races have helped, all races have been helped. I find it funny that once a group DOES do something other than ask for handouts, and helps themselves and others, that they become "racist". In today's America discrimination has become something primarily based on the haves and have nots - economic status, not race. I also agree that we need to move past the term minority, although I am not yet sure how we do that. We need to look at people as the human race not one based on ethnic background. I know we are not there yet, but I think for all our human frailty and faults, we are slowing climbing that mountain and we are nearing the top. Maybe not in my lifetime, but I think my son might see it.
