The civil rights lawsuit, filed earlier this month, has so alarmed some lawyers that they are offering to defend the unnamed "John Doe" passengers free of charge. They say it is vital that the flying public be able to report suspicious behavior without fear of being dragged into court. "When you drive up the road towards the airport, there's a big road sign that says, `Report suspicious behavior,'" said Gerry Nolting, a Minneapolis lawyer. "There's no disclaimer that adds, `But beware if you do that, you might get sued.'" The six imams were taken off a Phoenix-bound US Airways flight on Nov. 20 while returning home from a conference of Islamic clerics in Minneapolis. Other passengers had gotten nervous when the men were seen praying and chanting in Arabic as they waited to board. Some passengers also said that the men spoke of Saddam Hussein and cursed the United States; that they requested seat belt extenders with heavy buckles and stowed them under their seats; that they were moving about and conferring with each other during boarding; and that they sat separately in seats scattered through the cabin. The plane was cleared for a security sweep, nothing was found, and the jet took off without the imams. (Continued......)

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Six Muslim men removed from a plane last fall after being accused of suspicious behavior are suing not only the airline but the passengers who complained — a move some fear could discourage travelers from speaking up when they see something unusual.

The civil rights lawsuit, filed earlier this month, has so alarmed some lawyers that they are offering to defend the unnamed "John Doe" passengers free of charge. They say it is vital that the flying public be able to report suspicious behavior without fear of being dragged into court.

Not DIRECTLY, but certainly corporate and big business interest have a strong hold on BOTH parties, and that goes with along with at least the History Channel description of fascist influence. Correct However we have the ability to make changes where in a true fascist state they can not. Iraq was called a republic on the face but this was a lie like everything else about Iraq. But the lies ran their course. The Batth paty started in 1934 and was backed by the Nazi party in europe prior to WWII. The batth party is a socialistic party and Saddam was a fascist totalitarian Dictator. So you can turn left at Fascism.

Hitler used it for effect. circa 1936 He couldnt win on the first attempt so they needed someone to blame. And thus the Jewish Problem. And we have become the blame for Islam, Thus Islamofascist totalitarian efforts to destroy us. Placing blame is the easy way to gain popularity and power. And in the U.S. Sypathy for their plight in life and for them to carry on the fight. WOW that even made sense to me!!!!

I know that APATHY is part of the probelm, but the biggest part of it is the monoply that the Big 2 have over our ENTIRE process. Like I said before, I'd like to see anti-trust legislation against them both." -------------------------------------------------------- I know you do, yy. I was not trying to slight you, only make the point that the two party system is dominant because of voter apathy, not from any facist influence or control. If that 50 to 70 percent participated the two party system would weaken and possibly self destruct from within, in a very short period. Again just MY opinion - lol!

Just as I do not believe that I vote here when the 2 parties trot out THEIR choices every 4 years." ------------------------------------------------------- ...but WE (meaning us in the U.S.) have a choice! In primaries less then 25 to 30 percent of eligible or registered voters participate. In the national election, it is barely 40 to 50 percent (depending on year) of eligible or registered voters who participate. If that 50 to 70 percent of Americans WOULD VOTE then these parties would not have the control they have. Thus it is our fault as voters (or voters who refuse or decline to participate) that DIRECTLY contribute to the lack of better candidates. In the South and Central countries we are referring to the reasons for not voting or voting for someone they really don't support is based on their survival, the ability to go on living, to not be tortured, to not watch soldiers or rebels drag your daughter, wife or children into the woods to send a message etc., not selfish apathy and excuses that many spoiled, selfish, self centered Americans cling to. BIG difference!

These societies are a EQUAL mix of leftist and far right controlled governments. When I type it into the internet, as you suggest, the first 8 to 10 pages are articles by scholars and historians about Far Right governments, just as you imply. However, if you continue going the pages start giving you scholarly and historians who wrote articles and books on LEFT wing Fascist governments. Just because the articles about Right wing Fascist governments show up first does not mean that left wing Fascist government had less of an impact or that their historical importance is less significant. Many governments right here in the America’s, Central and South were considered Fascist, and established under leftist like Daniel Ortega, Che Chavera etc. These leftist once they came into power actually established Fascist governments that suppressed and brutalized people just as bad as the governments they replaced or wanted replaced. Lucky pointed out that Hitler was a socialist who became a Totalitarian and took his leftist ideas and expanded upon them, thus creating (or attempting to create) a fascist government. Thus fascism an and is just as easily obtained through far left rhetoric or it is through far right rhetoric. Fascism is not solely born out of far right fanaticals nor far left. Historically, they both share in obtaining that outcome.
