Both sides has their respective extremes and it's that side that hits the political news media. I think we all recognize that. During the Lincoln years, there was political turmoil much greater than what is currently seen here. This country was much more vulnerable. Well, we survived then and we'll survive this one. The next president will face the same - it's how we balance this country. Somehow, we do it with words and not bullets.

It would be so refreshing to read that "us as Americans" rather than "those filthy nasty crooked... (Insert Republican or Democrat here)" Throughout history no presidential administration has been free of costly mistakes and failed programs in their agenda. However no administration has ever been so scrutinized as the Bush and Clinton administration have! Face the fact that any politician that is in the White house has been corrupt at sometime or another to get there. I refuse to be labeled a Democrat or Republican as I am an American first and foremost and will die to preserve my freedom and yours if necessary! Every word written in vain has consequences, hope that is realized by all!
