Obama released a statement concerning this issue today. in the AP press release Obama stated that the troops should be re-deployed to fight Al-Qaeda along the Pakistan-Afganistan borders. So we do have a Democrat candidate that is stating another strategy.

Joe,
A few of those democrats have said how they would address the war on terror. If you remember the 2004 Presidential run, Kerry believes it is a Law Enforcement matter not a military one. Gore believes we should sit down with the "bin Laden's" of the world and negotiate by trying to be more understanding of things from their point of view. Gore seems to believe the "hugs all around" approach will solve this problem. The others, to include Hillary who plays the entire field of hawkish to anti-war, depending on what crowd she is talking to, have not stated any idea, general plans, nor specific ones concerning this. |

First off I don't think they would call it that, They will probably use a PC political catch phrase, just to piss of conservatives if for nothing else. But how do you think A democat would handle the "War on Terror"? Barrak Obama? Hillary? Gore? Kerry? Edwards (No chance in hell but.....), oh and our favorite Dennis Kusinich.
