Tommy Thompson cited a dead hearing aid and an urgent need to use the bathroom in explaining on Saturday why he said at a GOP presidential debate that an employer should be allowed to fire a gay worker. That gaffe, as well as one in April when he told a Jewish group that earning money is "part of the Jewish tradition," have been a distraction for Thompson's campaign. for some reason, i thought this was funny. bad batteries or a bad excuse? and don't you think he would re-charge those suckers right before the debate?

You said I looked like a mousey little cpa, I said i'm 6ft and 190lbs and something to the effect of not considered little. If you take that as a challenge to a fish fight then you need to get back on your lithium. As far as me NOT having a real job... you're entitled to your opinion, the bank doesn't mind cashing my mortgage check so it must be real money that i make. I don't believe you have to work in a factory to have a real job. I decided i didn't like manual labor when i was in the air force. So i found something that suits me. I loved my grandfathers, doesn't mean i agreed with them. my family are a nest of socialists, holidays are interesting when i bother to go. Maybe i was switched at birth or maybe i was just hatched. Sorry but i feel it's up to an employer who they hire, govt should stay out of it. right up there with the bogus "people can't live on miniumum wage" whinning i hear. No one is suppose to live on min wage, it's an entry level pay, not living pay. get a grip. Govt already has to much power over us, courts stimey commerence and no one can be offended or fire for anything or they run to a lawyer to sue... country is going to hell in a hand basket and it's attitudes like yours that are putting the trip into high gear. For the record, i have no problem with gays, lesbians or anyone else. Just shouldn't have to employ them if i don't want to. Although one of the gentleman in my office complex is a gay lawyer, and he refers me business all the time.

User Details are only visible to members.	Without the unions and their influence on society even the non union employers wouldn't pay what they pay. The non union keep the wages up so the mice don't jump ship to a union job or attempt to unionize where they are. There's a family story my mom tells of her father back in the day. Her father was a miner, sick and in a hole full of ice water up to his waist, deep in a mine and complaining about having to work in the cold wet water a few hundred feet down. Boss says..."you don't want your 50 cents for the day.....someone else does"! And by the way....they didn't get money, they got "script" to spend at the "company" store. Remember Tennessee Earnie Ford....Sixteen Tons? Need health insurance back then, no problem; we'll take 30 cents a week out of your pay and you can see the "company" doctor. Now that's good health care!

I do know people that are being sued because they wont' allow a "transgender" at their work place ot use the ladies room. It's somehow violating "his/her" rights to have to use the mens room, I guess women shoudl have to be exposed to that when they use the restroom. He should be fired at the employer shouldn't fear litigations. As far as "asking my grandfather" they're both dead, wish i could talk to them. And how exactly do you work a "60+ hour work day"? Unions never did any good for anyone, they made us alot like the french. And before you bitch my grandfather's were both in the steel unions. As to how far I could go without a union? Pretty damn far from a kid that grew up in steel city PA. The unions never did anythign for me. I'd be glad if they went under and we got back to having a work ethic in this country. You won't ever get rich working 40hrs a week. Glad I have a good old 62 year old executive assistant that i don't have to worry about dressing like a man. As far as fashion goes, I'm comfortable with what I wear, I have alot of friends both in an out of the lifestyle and they are comfortable with me. After wearing a suit all week long on the weekends I like to dress comfortable. I'll have to say angle, you calling me "mousey little cpa type" is a first for that. I'm 6ft tall and 190lbs most people wouldnt' call that "little" And if they style on your pictures is what you are comparing to me... the grungy ossy osrbourne look went out in 88. And i have way to much personality to be an accountant.

What if a person is running a christian book store, should they have to hire a transexual? or a gay person? As an employer i don't check my moral code at the door. Personally as long as men are wearing womens clothes and asking to use the womens bathroom I'm ok with them. as to my shirt. Happens to be a very comfortable shirt... and angle I live in south florida, here that shirt is in good taste. And for the record angle I don't suck dick or take it in the ass, so if you're hitting on me stop it.

User Details are only visible to members.	for any reason? what if an employer doesnt want to hire woman?, people over 130lbs, blacks? what about if the employer hates the pope and will fire u if u are catholic? what if the employer believe young people have more energy and that once you turn 45 you are fired.. all ok?

And employer should be able to hire or not hire anyone he/she wants. If a guy want to dress as a chick at work I shouldnt' have to hire him and if he decides that's something he's going to do then I should be able to fire him. If someone being gay is a distraction at the office and employer should be able to fire them to. We're NOT the french, this is america toughen up.
