It doesn't matter if the victims were or weren't armed. We aren't going to be afraid of everyone and feel that we must be armed every moment of every day like you are... We don't need the security blanket of a fire arm to feel safe enough to interact with others like you need the fire arm to fall back onto for the illusion of security... Least of all when the people in these examples were family members or close friends. So if the only solution you have to offer is more guns, you don't have a solution. |

It's unclear what the number of bullets fired has to do with anything. If 120,000 people are hit by bullets in America in one year, what is the difference whether it was a million bullets or a billion bullets that didn't hit anyone? A billion or a trillion bullets hitting inanimate objects don't do anything productive, do they? |
