A question about (y)our vanilla lives. .
Dinner parties were common in our parents' homes. At least once a week, they would go out or they would host four or five couples for drinks, dinner, coffee, and conversation. These were emphatically not swinger/LS events. We do the same, although less frequently. Our kids regard "having friends over" as an unusual event. There are all sorts of explanations given: too busy, don't know how to cook, we would rather just go to a restaurant, ... Do you still host/attend vanilla dinner parties? Why or why not?
