The respiratory illness season ("flu season") is already underway and -- lucky us!-- our home state of Georgia seems to be having one of the earlier upticks. While the decision to participate in the annual influenza vaccination program ("flu shot") is personal, if you are thinking about getting a flu shot this year--this may be the year to get it sooner rather than later. .
Similarly, the bivalent ("includes Omicron") COVID booster is now widely available. Again, it's a personal decision--and if you are planning to participate, might be advisable to consider your next available opportunity.
