Sometimes I wonder if there really is such a thing. I suppose a couple can come to a mutual decision and make this happen. Sometimes people just age out where there are no oppportunities to play with others due to their age/s. In cases where both have restrictions based on health, that could be another possibility.
I'm kind of more thinking where things just aren't working out for one of the two in a couple. In some cases it can be the man, where they just don't have the opportunities that a woman has, due to the sheer # of willing SMs. In other cases it can be the wife that was just along for the ride to appease the husband, and she's simply had enough. Other than that, it could be a case where either has let themselves go physically and are just nowhere near as appealing as their mate. There could be other couples they could play with in a similar state, but if for example a guy has a hot wife, there's a good chance he's not going to want a woman that has let themselves go like they have, and vice versa. For all of these latter cases, it just doesn't seem like there will be a graceful exit strategy. It feels more like a ticking time bomb IMHO. One may go along with exiting the LS at the time, but if they really didn't want to leave the LS and they still have opportunities, I strongly suspect this will eventually cause a problem. Kind of like a Pandora's Box sort of thing. Thoughts?
