Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle

I love the vaguely Southern Gothic vibe of Jackson's writing and I had never gotten around to this one. Super quick read.

You must be reading my mind, Scott. Here it sits on the end table, awaiting my allergy-infused eyes. I'll have to have another book to take with me on vacation though. I hate packing a Stephen King hardback. Means I have to leave out other things. LOL

I liked Song of Susannah though. Especially when they meet "the writer." ;)

His later books in the series all seem to start off slowly, drag a bit, then kind of suck in the reader.

I would go ahead and finish off the Dark Tower series. I personally think he got in a big hurry toward the end and the last few books suffered for it. The Dark Tower is a better book than Song of Susannah, but Wastelands and Wizard and Glass are probably my two favorite books of all time.

No matter what happens electronically, I still love the feel of a real book in my hands.

Oh help...I have only the last book in the Dark Tower series left, do I start that one or something a little lighter (literally and figuratively!). It's not fun when you fall asleep on the couch reading every night and one of Mr. King's tomes fall on your face.

Yes, I have a Kindle. But I still also like hardbacks. Ahem.

No, but I was fascinated by the articles in the Big Coloring Book of Vaginas.

At least you aren't saying you're reading it for the articles. ;-)

When I'm done with that one, I'm going to start: Color My Boobs

OK, OK, so a coloring book doesn't technically require reading, but it's still a book.

The Big Book of Big Breasts

It's in 3D. I think I just poked my eye out.
