At the lake today my brother asked me if I'd read 50 Shades of Gray... Fortunately I was able to honestly say "no.". He told me that his girlfriend is reading it and that he's even seen baseball Moms at the little league game reading it. He said he cracked a joke to the Coach at the last game... Something like "if we were reading stuff like that on our computers, you know they'd be pissed.". I laughed and he said "seriously Holly, it's straight up porn."

shell it depends on your point of view. I read very erotic books all the time I found it to be pretty tame. My friends that read more on the Nora Roberts/Virigina Henly sort of books are all like OMG. Its poorly written even for erotica.

Great topic. We're both reading the 50 Shades trilogy (and it is way better than Twilight - I barely finished the first book. Twilight was strange - you know how some books draw you in? I thought it started okay but kept getting lamer and lamer.)

I've just finished, and she is still working on, The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion. This is a very good book.

With a friends at work I am reading Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths Go to Work. Were considering creating a meeting bingo game from it.

And on my phone I keep stuff to reread at odd moments - I'll never be at a loss in a Doctor's Office again. Just finished the complete Flashman series and am now working on Triplanetary.

It's a great book CJF. Even though there were parts where I had to force myself to read, because it felt like my innards were being pulled apart!
