Me too and his other series as well. I read them all as soon as they come out. I follow Patric Rothfuss (sp) pretty close too right now.

Haven't done this in a while, but stayed up till almost 4:00 AM finishing one of the most haunting, touching and imaginative books I've ever read: Room, by Emma Donoghue. Wow. This one is going to stay with me for a long time.

Hey all, Sorry for a little self-promo, but I wrote a book called 'Swingland: Between the Sheets of the Secretive, Sometimes Messy, but Always Adventurous Swinging Lifestyle' (Touchstone/Simon & Schuster). It's available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, just about everywhere books are sold. In hardcover and ebook. If anyone's read it, would love to hear your thoughts. If you're interested, would love for you to check it out! As for books I didn't write, I'm reading some AJ Jacobs. Decently funny. :-)

I'm flipping between the Book Thief and Rival to the Queen by Carolly Erickson. I love everything Elizabeth I, and historical novels intrigue me.

Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle

I love the vaguely Southern Gothic vibe of Jackson's writing and I had never gotten around to this one. Super quick read.

You must be reading my mind, Scott. Here it sits on the end table, awaiting my allergy-infused eyes. I'll have to have another book to take with me on vacation though. I hate packing a Stephen King hardback. Means I have to leave out other things. LOL

I liked Song of Susannah though. Especially when they meet "the writer." ;)

His later books in the series all seem to start off slowly, drag a bit, then kind of suck in the reader.
