OK, anybody reading? Just finished Game of Thrones, saw quite a few that were reading it or going to read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably be starting the next book shortly, but what I think I will start next is one of my birthday presents, The Criminal Conversation of Mrs. Norton - a true story about the first feminist legislator. Criminal conversation was the term for adultery in the UK in the 1800's; she managed to get divorce rules re-written such that women would have access to their children and not become penniless upon diovorce. It sounds interesting and entertaining.

Scandle, that's funny. I haven't given up old-fashioned books so I don't know if I would find that I would prefer reading some books in print versus electronically. The Ben Franklin autobiography happens to be one of those leather-bound editions, which seems entirely appropriate!

I just finished "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by Rachel Joyce. The characters are very well developed, the prose is rich, and the fiction is interesting. It is a very unique kind of love story.

Mrs. Leeza, I started to read that on my Kindle but couldn't get into it. Somehow it felt nearly sacrilegious to not be holding a print copy in this case.

Just had this same conversation tonight about it. I've started Wolves, but wow, is it a slow start. Hate giving up on it, but there are so many other things I want to read.

The Stand is my all time fave King book but I feel that the Dark Tower series jumped the shark after Wizards and Glass. I slogged through the Wolves of the Calla and had hope again after Songs of Susahhanh but never made it through The Dark Tower. I kinda think King lost his way and can't figure out what to do with this mess now.
