Gina, I think that you'd enjoy Master and Margarita, by Mikhail Bulgakov. Check it out some day.

Me too, but we didn't read that one in HS. I don't know why.

I'm thinking of going through the list of banned books and reading all of them, although, I already have read most, not knowing they were "banned." I still can't believe there even is such a thing.

I just re - read the Catcher in the Rye. Had to read it in high school. I loved it then, I love it even more now.

I loved To Kill a Mockingbird too. I'm glad it is still a requirement to read in school. I am currently reading another book on meditation.

I am reading To Kill a Mockingbird again. The 11 year old had to read it fo school so I grabbed it when he finished. I do love this book.

me too, as you know. Submitted partial memoirs to a contest. I don't even care if I'm a finalist, it's helping me finish something I started 10 years ago.

Still on Song of Susannah, and finding it the most enjoyable of the series.

Not sure what will be next. Recommendations? I cannot read drivel or fluff (and I don't consider King to be either...I'm talking Danielle Steele type fluff. I've tried, but eh, no.)

I'm still on my same book. I am actually writing more than I am reading lately. I have started journaling again. It helps me get my thoughts in order, I really suck at verbalizing, I am better when writing.
