I introduced my daughters to The Princess Bride on our long car trip last week. It is, bar none, my favorite movie of all time. I adore the campy humor and was delighted when my older daughter immediately began using the best lines in conversation. After all this time, I think it is largely that I have the movie memorized that makes it such a pleasant comfort to watch.

There are precious few movies that I am willing to watch more than once.

V for Vendetta is one of my favorite movies. Misunderstood by most people, I think.

I loved Paranormal Activity 3. Cheesy, yes. But so what.

I liked the Avengers. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was OK.

"V For Vendetta" 2005
I enjoy films with a dark, mysterious hero. If you haVen't seen VfV, it takes place in the not-so-distant future, and has a "big brother watching you" type of feel. Too much goV't inVolVement/control kind of thing, and a one-man reVolution.
It's sort of comic-bookish, but Very cool.

Best Movie for me is "Where Eagles Dare" with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. Awsome WWII movie that keeps you on your seat the whole time.

Just saw The Campaign over the weekend and it was hilarious! Definitely worth seeing again. The jokes about the current political atmosphere I thought were pretty amusing and didn't find any part of the movie boring or sluggish.

It doesn't matter WHEN the movie was made, just the best you've seen in three months.

Why, did you like it above the others you've seen in the same (3 months) time frame?
