User Details are only visible to members.	I used to work in a group where some people did work with pentaerythritol. One has to be careful when drawing it or it resembles a swastika. I never thought of the sames as sexy, although sometimes they were amusing. My very first research project was on polyamine derivatives, and polyamines STINK. When I used to give presentations on that topic I would have a slide of some representative polyamines and their names, and would say they have names indicative of their origins and their odors, unfortunately. It would always get a chuckle. I would include putrescine, cadaverine, spermine, and spermidine. Cadaverine really didn't belong because it's not part of the same series, but it had a colorful name and was, literally, the smell of decaying corpses. Imagine the smell in the lab when I would be vacuum distilling putrescine (rotting fish), spermine and spermidine (exactly where you would imagine they were found and smell like). People would walk in and stop... "What the hell are you doing in here?!?"
