Some faux chicken is apparently so good you can't tell it from the real thing:

"Whole Foods recalled two kinds of curried chicken salad that had been mislabeled and sold in some of its stores. The salad made with real chicken had been labeled as vegetarian "chick'n" salad while the salad supposedly made with a meat alternative contained actual chicken.

"None of the customers apparently noticed the difference," Ethan Brown, founder of Beyond Meat, which made the chicken substitute, told the New York Times."

Do you suppose it was a vegan who couldn't tell the difference between real chicken and faux chicken?

Inez-I doubt you saw a recipe for what I made as it's my own creation.

I find it funny that people will dismiss the idea of vegan meals outright without even trying them. Not only was it delicious and decadent it involved no animal cruelty or death-- yet vegans are considered the "extremists " LOL!

Add to that the proven health benefits (Scamps bad cholesterol is down 50+ points since living with me and my bloodwork always comes back spotless) along with the planetary benefits I'm simply amazed that the majority of people shun the very idea if a vegan meal even once or twice a week.
