Filet mignon and spicy green beans.

The spicy green beans were an internet recipe for their approximation of P.F. Chang's Spicy Green Beans, one of my favoritist things in the world. They were good, but it needs some work still. Too spicy, not saucy enough, a touch undercooked, but the sweetness/garlic/ginger/salt all were perfect. I have work to do!!!

New Japanese place right around the corner from us. Have had lunch there, and loved the tastes and the atmosphere. It's QUIET in there and quite lovely. Mr. and I have not had dinner out together, just the two of us, in quite some time.

Green bell peppers are definitely my least favorite, and I never purposefully put them in anything. Red/orange/yellow are way better and of course are much more expensive.

I only like bell peppers when I make stuffing at Thanksgiving...we're talking about the green ones right....those I don't love at all. I like the orange, yellow and red ones as they have a milder texture. Lo Mein was one of my favorites when I ate pasta. I actually loved the cold noodle they made in Chinatown. Those were the days.
