Gravalax sounds like something you take to clear a bowel obstruction.

I had to look it up. Gravlax (as it's more commonly spelled) is a cured salmon dish, for those who were also unaware.

It is the first night of Hannukah. The Jewish festival of lights (not technically true...but most people that I met refer to it as such).

As the tradition dictates were having:

Gravalax with the works to start. Fork tender brisket and carrots potatoes latkes.

Jelly donuts (Soofganyot). No Hannukah celebration would be complete w/o eight days worth of gifts.

@ tigg: chocolate whipped cream is a weakness of mine.

OT, not sure, but...my e mail brought recipes for vegan potato latkes, sweet potato latkes, corn gabanero latkes (happy chanukah to those who celebrate!) and vegan sugar cookies...amongst other seasonal recipes.

now i'm craving latkes & sugar cookies. yeah, good combo. ~rolling eyes~

tonight oughta be interesting. :P

@Tigg: That sounds excellent. I love rice noodles; @BT when my carb crave was on I made cornbread and ate the entire pan in 2 days with my homemade soup. That is an excellent combination.
