Last night's dinner was homemade, vegan, build-it-yourself burritos courtesy of my daughter and her boyfriend. She wanted to treat me to a homecooked meal since I so rarely get that--I'm usually the cook.

They went all out too! They made spicy refried beans, caramelized onion, seasoned beaf crumbles, shredded lettuce, non-dairy cheddar style cheese, non dairy sour cream and a variety of salsas and sauces.

The best part? They cleaned up the kitchen as well while my friend and I took a bottle of wine for a walk around the neighborhood.

315,

Same as you; meat (pork, game, etc.), and a blend of spices - kosher salt, freshly ground pepper, fennel seed, and sometimes herbs. It depends on the type of meat and sausage "use" (breakfast v dinner). I'll sometimes use roasted garlic or add cheese, but I wouldn't freeze sausage with those ingredients.

Honestly, I was hoping Mrs. HotTN would have shown the interest in my sausage. C'est la vie!
