"I never really was big on pasta and never understood the need for all differently shaped pasta, to me, a noodle is a noodle by any other name is still a noodle! "

For shame!

Pastine and egg in homemeade chicken soup is the Italian/Jewish mother cure all:)

pasta and noodles are not the same!

I like the barelli plus line of pastas, much more like my homemade ones. Their wholegrain are good too.

If I had my choice I would make fresh all the time, but it is just not in my time table right now.

We marinate because we like the way it taste and done right it doesn't kill the taste of meat. Yes, T-bone is tender but marinated, it melts in your mouth.

M-I would butterfly the shrimp-excuse the typing, T fell asleep on my chest and I'm using left hand one finger, lol-sautee onion, herbs white wine a squeeze of lemon and a binder. mix together and put the shrimp inside down-plop some of the mix on and flip the tail over, bake and serve with your rice with slivered almonds.

shrimp and pasta with some sort of light sauce would be good poly......you could most likely use your onion soup some garlic and pureed tomatoes to make a sauce.
