"Pomegranates are really good for you and tastey too. I bought some for the kids last week and was SHOCKED at the price. They were 25 cents when I was a kid, now they're $3.00 each!!! We used to call them 'Indian Apples' "

threw together something very good tonight: chicken, a bit of bacon, red pepper flakes, garlic, onion and whipping cream sauce to which I added a bit of mozzarella (I didn't have parmesan or other light cheese) and some great Wisconsin white cheddar for added kick. Made a nice sauce over whole wheat penne.

Trying to clean out the pantry, fridge and freezer
