oh duh...made the strawberry soup for myself for lunch. Dinner was sicilian thin crust pizza.

Sexus......thanks that sounds great! I am with you I would omit the sugar....and some of the sour cream as well....I am going to make it tomorrow!!.....as for the drink... I am allergic to rum ...so thats out I believe....

I had some this morning with my special k and fat free milk :)

I am thinking of adding a few strawberries to my gallon of water to flavor it....

yum. Strawberries are wonderful. A daiquiri, perhaps? (wow, i spelled it correctly on the first try...that's usually a tough one, and means I'm not so brain dead)

Strawberry Soup:

1 qt. strawberries 1 pint plain yogurt 1 pint sour cream ( a bit too "sour creamy" for me, so I did less) 6 fresh minced mint leaves (if you don't like mint, you can omit) 2 TB vanilla 1/8 Cup sugar (I also don't add the sugar, as I like the tartness and the yogurt is enough for me for "sweetness")

Combine all ingredients in blender. Chill before serving. Garnish w/ mint leaf and a strawberry if you want

I got a flat of strawberries yesterday for 18$ they are so so good, I was going to make jelly fromthem BUT they are just tooo perfect to do that too !!LOL No bruises on any that I can see right now, so I cut up 2 qts last night, taking some for lunch today ( will add to a salad ) but thinking what else to do with them the guys wont eat them and I cant see me eating them all before they go bad....ideas VERY welcome!!

Dinner tonight... thinking pork on the grill...tomorrow my daughter is coming for dinner so making her fav. crab spag. with sundried tomato sauce
