They've never posted them, as far as I know, because they end up using them in their restaurants. It's interesting readin, though. With all your free time, I know...

Did you ever read how the show works in reality?

Fuck. Oh wait. Wrong thread.

You mean I was WRONG? You may have to go to the network itself for recipes, but really, what do I know? I know the food channel itself has them (online).

Hanging my head in wrongful shame.

hmmm, I'll agree w/ the tradition thing, but will have to look up the rest, as it sounds a bit, er, fishy to me.

We give up meat for lent because long ago there was an excess of fish and it was going to waste so the Church said we'd eat fish on Fridays. It's tradition, not in the bible anywhere that I know of.

Rave, add some hoisen to the ginger sauce...the two combine really well.

M, you can go online to the tv show itself and they will list the recipes by date/episode.

We're having pork tenderloin, terryake marinade and then making the rest into mini sandwiches for his poker buddies. I made a great curry dip for raw veggies. I am swearing off regular potatoes, so may just do some sort of salad.

It is lent, yes. But I still can't find a good explanation for why we should give up meat, when I've given up my own personal things for Lent. (But don't respond to that...it's just my ramblings about it...unless you really know)

Drunken delmonico steaks butterflied and grilled with blue cheese topping, five-grain sourdough with olive tapenade, and a salad, methinks. We like food :)
