Oh, yes it did! Soooo tender and flavorful...could not really cross cut against the grain cause it literally wanted to separate. Will do it again the next time we decide for another corn beef.

I will sometimes do a corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot.... always turns out good :) Hope yours did as well!

Seduction4Two...I thought so as well. Hell, I cook several different kinds of roasts in a crock pot all the time...why not corn beef? Will post after dinner on whether or not it was tasty.

I sauteed garlic,and mushrooms with some boneless pork chops.... made baked beans and stove top ( ewww ).....

Not sure tomorrow, supp to rain so not doing the steaks on the grill I was gonna do ....

Just dropped a corn beef roast into the crock pot to cook for 11 hours(first time cooking it this way). Anyone else tried a corn beef this way?

A man after my own heart, lol I use this principle during the week when Mr. S is gone, and then turn into a fantastic cook on the weekends. He loves my herb-mustard crusted rack of lamb, or chicken Francais, etc. Just not inspired to cook for my lonesome.
