Fritters come in so many forms and are seen in many of the world's cuisines. They are always a fried dumpling type of thing. One of my favorites is vegetable pakoras. It's an Indian appetizer. If you like cornbread and you like the occasional fried item, chances are good you'd like hushpuppies!

I know what a cornbread is . I have heard of a fritter, no clue what one is.

WOW! I love hushpuppies! We have them every time we go down south! I'm sure my heart thanks me that we don't have them too often!

Dinner: Steaks and scallops on the grill, green beans, wild rice pilaf.

Hubby gets a treat today. So god help his arteries, fried chicken, french fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw and strawberry rhubarb butter crunch.

Yesterday... son ended up staying home so no sitting out for me... dinner was a favorite of the guys... meatloaf ( nothing fancy but they liked it ) I made 2 one with beef for them and one with turkey for me... have to say this is the 1st time I made one with turkey and I loved it!!

Tonight not sure, Gary has doc appt in Hershey so depends what time we get home...wish us luck...

made roast cod in garlic butter with sweet potatoes and carrots.......rescipe from chef alberto portale of a fancy restauarant in new york city.......was super fantastic and only took 20 minutes.......fresh cod from my boat this morning :)
