Jay is so fabulous, I walked in the door (he was off today...although it was MUCH MORE peaceful in my nice, sane office than in this crazy looney bin...all 3 were out of school for President's day. We may never again find all of Jay's sanity heehee) and dinner was done and being put on the plate! Delicious and healthy baked chicken and veggies. Can't beat it!

I am sooo hungry right now and still stuck at work for a bit. Probably going to go to Chili's as it is our day off tomorrow and I plan on sleeping lots. I shouldn't even have looked at this thread...the thought of homemade pasta is making my nuts LOL

Spade-I've almost BEEN cooking for 40 years! Long to me is 4 to 5 hours preparing a nice dinner. By the time I'm done I almost end up watching everyone else enjoy it. We're making home made pasta next Saturday and I can already see it happening.

I was oooooooooooooooooooooooo so bad yesterday I will not even put it in print. It was my last day of evil. For the nxt two months I have a mission. Well, except next Saturday we will be making home made pasta-but I can eat just a little and be done with that and go for the salad.
Does anyone esle find after cooking long term you lose the appeal for the food? |

Yesterday was our valentine's dinner, and Jim had baked scallops, baked potatoe and salad; me, since I have not had a steak forever, with for a 6 ounce sirlioin, salad and baked potato, and I must say it reminds me to go to the store and get some russetts. I forgotten how good, filling and healthy baked potatos are, perfect for lunch.
