I O/D'd on the chicken soup so I made black bean soup. It's really good and easy. I wasn't about to soak beans and all that so I boiled some chopped carrots, while the carrots were cooking I sauteed onions in a bit of olive oil, added a can and a half of black beans, including the water and when the carrots were just where you could pierce them with a knife, I poured that in the bean mixture, added minced garlic (the one in the jar) and some Sazon (Goya) brought to a boil and then simmered, made a little thickening with corn starch and a bit of sea salt.

light dinner before going to dance class of totally delicious little chunk of cheese bought from that favorite little market of mine, they have little pieces of pricey cheeses in a basket wonderful for trying before you commit. Crackers, and cantaloupe. Will be eating lots of cantaloupe, they had them 3 for a buck. I bought 9 lol.
