BLT2LAST - yup, finished the 1/2 Marathon (my first one in the past 20 years - when I only did one previously). I have not been doing that much jogging, maybe 1 jog per week (4-6 miles). But I can be stubborn....and it was a lot of town hill (which caused a toe to bleed a little under the nail).

VA, now I will be dreaming of Cabot sour cream, damn it! Their cheese (we do have it down here) is fantastic. And of course, the greek yogurt... I rate this addiction right there with coffee :)

However, my local supermarket is pretty receptive to customers' requests and quirks... Won't hurt to speak to the manager about bringing the sour cream.

Cabot brand anything is awesome. If you can find it.

Their sour cream is incredible, but nobody here sells it. When we lived in Albany, NY everything was Cabot.

Vermont might be a wacky place in many ways, but they know their shit with dairy.

Mrs Sav, not sure if you caught my post a while back, I discovered this extra fatty plain greek yogurt, Cabot Vermont brand (10% milkfat) and yes, you can say, I am addicted. Before then, I ate Fage 2% plain yogurt (can't stand all these added sugars in flavored yogurt). However, plain or flavored, full fat or fat free, to each its own. I just have to say, that after trying greek yogurt, I am not at all interested in regular yogurt, period. I am seriously hooked! Yum!

SouthVegas, did you complete the marathon....you go...I am thinking of joining a running program being offered at my gym. I've done a 5k and 10K. Thought briefly once about doing the NYC but I never did. Heretofore, I haven't been big on running but I know that in order for me to get as lean as I'd like to running would be an excellent complement to my regular workouts. I am still undecided.
