I refuse to lose my accent. I'm proud of it. And depending on where I am, it gets me some positive attention as well. It was a hit in London. ;-)
And the more I drink, the more Southern I get. |

sb, I have a lot of people make assumptions about me because of my Southern accent. When I'm travelling for work, I've heard people making comments about my intelligence, my dental hygiene, my politcal beliefs, and whether I sleep with my cousins or with livestock.
Sometimes I play "country dumb" just to mess with them. |

TopTim, no offense is taken over haircolor at all --
I sometimes am guilty of letting people that I meet continue to assume that I am a "stereotypical dumb blonde". You just would simply not believe some of the stuff that comes out of people's mouths. One day, I might have to sit down and write a compilation of stories about some of those adventures. Though they would be "G" rated, no sex there. |
