Dang RDY, I have four kids, all College Graduates, all doing very well, too. One an Attorney, One an Architect, One a Computer Project Manager, and my Daughter a School Teacher. Then I have 8 grandchildren, four have now graduated from College, and have good jobs, three are in College, and one is still in High School. Interesting that One Granddaughter just was accepted for the first two jobs she interviewed for, and I'd hate to mention her starting salary at the one she selected. She Majored in Psychology, and minored in economics. Sorry for bragging, but I'm proud of them all. Oh yeah, I borrowed no money from the Government to help send them to school. Plus they all had summer jobs, of course. Oh, and a couple of them earned their college scholarships for their very high grades. Turns out there are plenty of jobs out there for those worthy.

I can't Imagine why Bobbie finds it so hard to get a job. Can you?

Lets have a contest for a perfect name for Bobbie Nitwit. Chattie Cathy is a great start. Lets see: Whiney Willie? Blame Game Bobbie? Looser Louie? How about Whimpering Willie? Worthless Looser? Mommies and Daddy's Baby Boy?

Guess I vote for Bobbie Nitwit. I select Nitwit because if he devoted as much of his effort to productive purpose and learning about reality, he could have a chance to succeed and actually be of value. But because he has yet to figure that out, that's kind of Nit Witty, doncha think?

So you say that it is acceptable to pass your debt onto your children, because you had a part in the invention of important elements of technology?

So let me get this straight, your solution to the debt you gave my generation is to pass it onto our own children?

Do you know how egotistical that sounds? Do any of you actually stop to listen to yourselves?

Lets break your legs, leave you with a ticking time bomb placed out of reach and you without any idea of how to refuse the bomb if you are by some unknown means able to reach the bomb? Much less the only tools you have are well beyond your skill to understand or so crude that they would cause the bombs detonation.

Does this sound like a fair situation to set you in? Because your debt broke my generations legs, your unwillingness to invest into our education system the tools it needed to teach the skills needed to refuse the debt has left most voters ignorant. Thus economic independence is kept out of reach.

Face it, the technology your generation developed, is little better than paying someone for running over their dog. It doesn't being the dog back to life. The technology I would never have known, would have never been missed, but the economic disparity is missed... You maliciously ran over my dog, and now I demand that you pay for it, by paying down the debt.

Sexy, he doesn't know what generation. You know he reminds me of a Chatty Cathy Doll, you pull the string and she says 11 different things. Maybe we should call him Chatty Cathy, he keeps on repeating the same stuff over and over and over. That was developed by one of those old time generations.

He wasn't born yet when we invented all those terrible things that make life easier and more comfortable and gave his generation an easier way of doing things. He wasn't born when Bell Labs, the research arm of AT&T developed the transistor at Homdel, NJ. He wasn't born when Univac installed the first computer system at the census dept. in 1946. I'll bet he's never heard of Western Electric and how their manufacturing processes were the basis of NEC's manufacturing process in Japan after the war. Should I go on or have we confused him to much with what the WWII, Baby Boomers did for his generation, but your right sexy he's lazy and content with being 30 years old and having a minimum wage job. My youngest son is 35 and he's college educated with a degree from the Univ. of Tenn. in Business and is the principle planner for GM where it takes 8 hours to build a Chevy or Buick and each one of the 3 lines has a vehicle come off the line every 58 second.

So when Chatty Cathy says he was given nothing and can do nothing with what he was given, maybe he should go see Dr. Rove for an examination maybe he'll tell him he has brain damage.

Sexy:

It was the republicans who expanded the DoD in the 70s, 80s and 00s. Most if the debt is due to the military spending.

Of the debt that isn't military related, 4 trillion is caused by your generation allowing the banks to become so large that if they crash, they take the global economy with them. More was for the auto industry.

Your ideals of capitalism sent the good paying jobs to the third world, and now few can afford to get a proper education, so that they know which risk to take. A high school graduates first financial risk is paying for college. That is a 30,000 dollar plus risk taken without knowing anything about college, other than that they must go to college to get a good job.

So if you want to bitch about how my generation resents yours, or the feel good ideals of the Democratic Party? Stop being a bastard and teach. You do not teach with tough words, old men have empty words and nothing to offer. That is what you, Justus, rdy, and Vabeach have. (Plus others) Empty words, often telling me to quite college and pick up a sludge hammer, with no advice for what to do if the back should break.

So your work hard mentality is a failed mentality, if fails to provide a humane living, it fails to provide for injury or ill health, it fails to provide for old age. Few people will become businessmen, and no businessman born before WWI is a self made businessman.

Bobbie, If your generation inherited any debt from mine it was because of a series of Democrat congresses who pandered for votes and won because of people like you who dream and hope instead of educating themselves well, took risk and worked hard. And you still haven't figured out that you are now being, and have been scammed - over and over. That's what socialism is.... a great scam that has never worked for long - anywhere, any time, in the world. Just like any top down structure of governing, it always succumbs to corruption and waste. Someday, you'll understand that. But not yet.

Sexy:

Your generation was the ones handed wealth generated from WWII, jobs generated from that wealth, and while you had the debt from your parents... They had also given you jobs.

My generation received the endin if the Cold War that your generation chose to fight and intensify. My generation received empty factories that yours sold to the Chinese, Mexicans and Pakistanis. Oh and we were handed the debt you chose not to pay down, but rather grew so to fight the soviets, who's economy was destined to collapse before WWII was even over.

Productivity? The only thing your generation was productive in was to generate a 17 trillion dollar debt and export our good paying jobs to the third world, while devaluing the common worker, to the point of expanding the number of welfare recipients.

If that is your idea of productivity, I wish you had a less productive mentality... Because we do not need that kind of productivity.

Ready, how can you hate Republicans so much when the bobbies of this world are the result of Democrat feel good, but non productive policy? If I was the chief Republican, I would sum up what I would represent with these words: Honesty, Trust, willingness to earn my own way, willingness to throw a block for you and others who work hard for their family, and above all, an understanding about economics and a strong work ethic that paves the way towards National Productivity. You seem to value all those same qualities, yet support what is to me a very wasteful, non productive, hassle thicket mess of regulations, rules, and thinking that Government can be more effective with money management than you or I can. I'd rather give you my taxes any day more than give them to a spendthrift like Obama. You would create more jobs, and more wealth with that investment than our government would. I think it's Democrat mistaken efforts to help the Bobbies of America that is destroying our value system as it produces more and more non producers like him who have been taught to blame his uselessness on you and me by Democrat unionized teachers, the media, and Democrat candidates pandering for voters. Democrats are mistakenly creating a new generation of blamers, whiners, and non productive leaches. I know that is un intentional to you, but look at the facts. Look at the irony of your efforts to fix Bobbie. It's too late. Bobbie will go from one dreamy sonogram to the next all his non productive, sorry life while complaining it's your and my fault.
