Williams can't even apologize without lying, making it seem as if he somehow got the events mixed up over time. Man up, admit that you flat our lied to benefit your own image.

NBC News anchor Brian Williams faced swift, and often harsh and sarcastic, reaction Wednesday after he recanted a story that he was aboard an Army helicopter that was hit with enemy fire in Iraq and forced to land.

The longtime NBC News journalist apologized in an interview with Stars & Stripes, saying he had “misremembered” what happened. He was actually in another nearby helicopter.

“I would not have chosen to make this mistake,” Williams told the newspaper. “I don’t know what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another.”

Do you think the people making these kinds of decisions have Liberal or Conservative views?

"Mount Holyoke College, an all-women’s college in Massachusetts, is retiring its annual production of the Vagina Monologues this year because the play is not inclusive of transgender students."

Whichever nincompoop administrator made that decision prolly got their job via operation of the Peter Principle.

Yep that's a perfect example of why send your kids to a private school that doesn't take federal money. They go there the rules are defined and not changed by the climate of public opinion. I went to an all boys Military school and that is why they won't take any government vouchers for their students. The school chooses to fund their own scholarship program for the less fortunate kids because they don't want to allow ridiculous rules to enter the campus.

The boy's father, Jason Steward, tells the New York Daily News that he took his son to see "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" last weekend. He says his son brought a ring to class at Kermit Elementary School and acted out a scene from the movie, telling another boy his magic ring could make the boy disappear.

The principal was called and immediately suspended the nine-year-old, the Odessa American reports, saying threats to another child's safety would not be tolerated - whether they are magical or not.

The principal now says she can't comment on the matter because quote, "All student stuff is confidential."

Steward says the principal sent the boy for making a terroristic threat with a magic ring. Steward told her his son lacked the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend's existence, but even if he had those powers, he's sure his son would bring his friend right back.

"Kids act out movies that they see. When I watched Superman as a kid, I went outside and tried to fly," Steward told the Daily News.

The family moved to the school district just six months ago, but it's the third time the nine-year-old has been suspended, the Odessa American reports.

The child was suspended the first time for referring to an African American child as black. His second suspension came after he brough his favorite book to school, called "The Big Book of Knowledge." The popular children's encyclopedia had a section on pregnancy with a pregnant woman in an illustration.
