We just come home from out gym work out. In the parking lot grass was a empty bottle 50ml. Smirnoff Peach Flavored Vodka someone had drank and threw near curb on grass. I feel sorry for that person and people that are so controlled by drinking. I am not a PRUDE. I could drink 3/4 Liter of Johnnie Walker Black Scotch every day if I was partying for a few day. If I never had another drink the rest of my life it would not effect me.

apparently there are times when "an army of one" is just not enough. two army recruiters decided to sample the jailbait with a 17 year old female they met at harmony high school in st. cloud, florida.

the only thing worse than a 2nd leiutenant is a fucking recruiter. here are two excellent examples.

Gerardo Mejìa found fame in the '90s with his wildly popular song "Rico Suave." It was during this wave of popularity that the rapper found himself bedding somewhere between 500 to 600 women -- despite being married.

According to the "Suave Says" star, it was his Ecuadorian background that normalized infidelity for him.

"In my culture, as a Latin man, it's expected," he explained.

"My mom, when I finally went and 'fessed up about everything, my mom was talking to my wife and she was like, 'well, you know, he's an artist. He's a man,'" Mejìa continued. "It's like, they look at it as that."

And while the singer and his wife are still together today, his trysts still brought consequences.

"We get in trouble too when we get caught," he admitted. "Guys think they're so sly. One day, it comes back."

A judge agreed to delay former Patriots star Aaron Hernandez’s double murder trial after his lawyers successfully argued that his first murder trial would get in the way of preparations.

Hernandez’s attorneys asked that the double murder trial, originally scheduled to begin in May, be delayed six months. Suffolk Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Locke agreed to a delay, but said he wanted to see how long the other murder trial took before deciding on a date, The Boston Globe reports.

James Cameron is busy hyping the sequels to "Avatar", though they have yet to go into production. Speaking to Empire, Cameron said, “They’re gonna be bitchin’,” presumably as he made a fist, extended his thumb and pinky finger–the international symbol for “Hang loose”–and encouraged the interviewer to join him on a sick party wave. But Cameron, apparently still high from ripping a serious nug, knew that “bitchin’” was not enough to describe his future projects. So he went further, stating, “You will shit yourself with your mouth wide open.”

Oh there are so many good ones today....this one reminds me of Fun's "Idiotic Idioms" thread.

China has banned wordplay on the grounds that it breaches the law on standard spoken and written Chinese, makes promoting cultural heritage harder and may mislead the public – especially children. The casual alteration of idioms risks nothing less than “cultural and linguistic chaos”, it warns.

Chinese is (apparently) perfectly suited to puns because it has so many homophones. Popular sayings and even customs, as well as jokes, rely on wordplay.

But the order from the State Administration for Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television says: “Radio and television authorities at all levels must tighten up their regulations and crack down on the irregular and inaccurate use of the Chinese language, especially the misuse of idioms.”

@fjep: I am getting better, believe me. If there is a critter to be seen, I will see it because I am such a pussy! Anywho, he or she is gone and I am off now to find the perfect Christmas Tree.

BLT better get used to them, FL has all kinds of critters that make their way into homes. Not uncommon to find black snakes in the house. I caught one of our pets for a few years in the yard, a three foot iguana. We finally gave her to a school after about 5 years and she was 5 feet long. I caught a lot of black snakes, a few in the house. But then we sometimes had alligators in our back yard.
