WTF hits to close to home this time. There is a story from around the Nashville TN area where over the weekend a man killed and dismembered a female he also ate some of her. My niece has a few 1/2 siblings and it was one of her sisters. I just don't know where to start.

A real blast from the past. Holy crap. This is one of the craziest things I've ever read. In my life.

Feb. 21, 1987

NASHVILLE, TENN. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ A 16-year-old, twice-divorced father of two whose only income is his $15-a- week allowance need not pay his first wife child support until he gets out of school and finds a job, his mother said Saturday.

The second divorce of Hal Warden, a Nashville 10th-grader, became final in January, when a three-judge panel of the Tennessee Court of Appeals ruled on child support in his first breakup.

'He won't have to pay until he's on his feet. There's high school and then college,' said his mother, Ogeal Warden. 'Hal only gets what we give him. You can't get blood out of a turnip.'

Hal was ordered to pay $30 a week in child support to his first wife, Wendy Chappell Warden, in August 1985. He was 12 at the time of that marriage and she was 14. They divorced in September 1985, because, she told the judge, "He was acting like a 10-year-old." But not before their daughter Heather was born.

At the time, Hal was earning $100 a week working for his father in the insulation business. But he has since returned to Hunter's Lane High School and his income was reduced to his allowance, his mother said.

Hal and his second wife, 15-year-old Catherine Renee Trent, agreed to share expenses for their daughter Ashley. They agreed on joint custody, though Hal was denied custody of his first child in a court fight.

The appeals panel said Hal has no earning capacity and the $30-a-week payments in his first marriage should be held until he can pay.

Hal lives with his parents in Nashville.

Vanellope, Rydder, Jceion, and Burklee head the latest annual list of the most common baby names on the Social Security Administration register of first-time-appearing names.

There were 63 Vanellopes (girls), but only 10 each for Rydder and Jceion, the most popular debut names for boys. Other notables were:

Hatch (8 times)

Psalms (7 times)

In other “name” news, the four finalists in April’s “Name of the Year” contest sponsored by Deadspin. com were the actual monikers Curvaceous Bass, (Dr.) Eve Gruntfest, Chillie Poon, and the winner--Shamus Beaglehole.

Why not just name your kid "BeatMeUpAndTakeMyLunchMoney"?

Is there a summary somewhere that gets rid of the giant question mark that just appeared over my head?

wtf? i think i'm going to spend a few months trashing certain behaviors while also spending a lot of time and energy trying to convince the fora that my SO never participates in this particular behavior because they are so AWESOMELY AMAZING! then i'm going to start a thread and challenge the unsuspecting to post in this thread about how pathetic they are for participating in said behavior.

our girls are 9 and 11, and luckily have never caught Bieber fever. The youngest loves Taylor Swift, and the older one likes Katy Perry. Mostly because Katy has a cat. lol

You know those bullshit calls "You've been approved for (choose one: mortgage, loan, free cruise, etc)"?

Well, we just got one telling us we've been approved for a fentanyl patch. Press 1 to speak to an operator.

Seriously.

Since this is right up our professional alley, we attempted to speak to an operator, but were cut off.
