Some people get such things, some do not. Who knows why. Sometimes the answer is obvious, sometimes it's not. I'm just glad I have my lovely wife - to be single would be a nightmare.

I've left restaurants with waiter's numbers before. Usually though because I ask for them, I'm always pleasantly surprised when they hand them over even when I'm with my man.

Slipped a number...
Reminds me of a party in college. A girl who had been in one of my classes showed up at a party of close friends- with her fiance. She kind of left him standing for a long time, as we talked and eventually danced. As they were leaving, holding hands I should add, using her free hand, she slipped a piece of paper with her number in my pocket. I never did call her because she was engaged. One of those regrets of life... Damn was she hot. |

I can't imagine why a waitress would not slip you her phone number (if she was into that sort of thing.) of course, it could be because you are with your lovely wife.
Last year, he was working as a waiter and a customer left a $100 for a $20 dollar meal along with her address. He was also offered an $80,000 a year job at the entry level (he thought about it, but is going to grad school instead.) Perhaps Robert Hill should become a waiter! |

Jesus... I'm nearly 40 and a waitress has never slipped me their phone number in my life. WTF!

Some of that maternal paranoia doesn't go away either. One weekend when our eldest was 14, waitresses at 2 different restaurants slipped him their phone numbers. Grrr
At least wait until he has his first whisker! |

I can relate to the maternal paranoia. My oldesr boy is blonde and blue eyed and had that charisma that was unmistakable even when he was tiny. Living in a bordertown and 99 plus per cent of the folk down here being Mexican made me very fearful he would get snatched out of my arms.
