EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. - April 2, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey have charged a woman for allegedly setting her home on fire while her daughter was inside. Amy Ochetto, 43, was charged following the fire, which was reported at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday on Windwood Drive in the Cardiff section of the township. According to police, Ochetto used some kind of flammable liquid to start the fire while her 12-year-old daughter and another adult were inside. The adult and the 12-year-old were able to escape the home and no injuries were reported. Police did not say why they believe Ochetto was trying to set fire to the house. Ochetto was arrested and was charged with aggravated arson, two counts of aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held on $100,000 cash bail. T

User Details are only visible to members.	A VICTORIAN (Australia) man had superglue poured into his eyes and an ear and was bashed with a prosthetic leg during an argument with his housemate. The 64-year-old man and the 58-year-old woman became involved in a heated argument at a Sebastopol house on Sunday evening. The woman allegedly tried to strangle the man before pouring superglue in his eyes and one ear, Senior Sergeant Paul Kinna said. Sgt Kinna said the woman is also accused of trying to set fire to the man and striking him with her prosthetic leg.

The blog's founder, 27-year-old My Vingren, assures me that Macho i Kollektivtrafiken isn’t a spoof, and that its modest goal is to change the world. VICE: Your blog claims that men who take up more space than they physically need when using public transport are practicing an "invisible and unconscious expression of power in an everyday, public space." Can men oppress women without even knowing it? My Vingren: Absolutely. I think one of the most problematic aspects of having such an extensive power structure is that a lot of people aren't even aware that how they act affects others. The fact that men get more space in classrooms, at board meetings, and so on, is part of a structural oppression that not everyone knows they're taking part in. What kinds of reasons do men tend to give for taking up more space than women on subways, buses, and trains? It's everything from "scrotum sweat is unpleasant," to "I have the right to sit comfortably," and "it's physically impossible for me to sit differently because I have a penis." What would you say to those claiming that, in the grand scheme of things, this issue is a "luxury problem"? My point is that this is part and parcel of the kind of oppression that leads to women being raped, getting lower salaries, and being exposed to violence in relationships.

User Details are only visible to members.	I wonder if he actually spelled "altruistic" correctly..... Many years ago I found someone's to-do list on the floor of a video store. It included many practical things (like pick up pizza, mail bills, etc) but also things you wouldn't think you'd need to be reminded of (eat lunch, go home). It was more like an exhaustive list of everything they think they will do that day. It even included "take dump". I'm not kidding.

Investigators say a man arrested for breaking into a Weymouth home had an interesting to do list for that day. Police say they caught 25-year-old Evan Dorsey breaking into a home on Manomet Road and stealing from a UPS package. When they searched him, they found a notebook that contained “goals for Friday 3/24/13” (Friday was actually 3/22). The list of his goals included finding crystal meth, getting a gold watch, doing a B&E or robbing a dealer, selling drugs, getting coke, and doing one altruistic act for a stranger.
