VA, your right we haven't used the death penalty, we're just content to spen money sticking them in 6X9 cell for the rest of their lives. Now that's a waste of taxpayer money. I may be a Dem and a liberal, but when it comes to killers an eye for an eye is a good practice. Besides, it would lower my property taxes.

I feel about the same with respect to the death penalty for murderers as I do forum suspensions for chronic assholes.
I'm technically against it, but I'm not exactly shedding a tear for the bastards when they get offed. |

The state of New Jersey has spent a grand total of $0 on this. New Jersey hasn't executed anyone since 1963. And the Feds haven't executed anyone in more than a decade. |

This. There's a protocol on doing everything, especially in the medical field. Proficiency comes from repetition and it's not like the people performing the lethal injection don't have other medical duties. Reinforce positive habits every time to ensure that they don't accidentally forget to sterilize a needle when treating a patient that they are actually trying to keep alive. T |
