So I was thinking..

The impression that certs leave on us.

Ever, just surfed and read certs for the heck of it, and wondered, WTF, who on earth writes that?

Are there certs that are positive, but you wouldn't accept?

I have neither the benefit of giving or receiving any certs so far, but I can definitely say that after reading them they can be a double-edged sword. Like the fella that had some 30+ certs on his profile and wondered if he should pare them down. If I was looking at someone with those kind of numbers it would make me a bit wary.

As for the specifics of what some of them say, I have wondered why people accept them. They are not all flattering, to say the least. Some just don't even make sense.

*C&P* The impression that certs leave on us.

In the present I /we think it's outdated as a tool for swingers that have *earned if you will their swing-wings. For people that profit from running parties and clubs heck yes it is still a tool. But as a rule of thumb I'd guess after the 2nd year at this sport it's old hat and not a deal breaker for lifetimers. Referrals or have you meet so and so does happen folks.

For newbies, novice and Ken & Barbies it {certs} can be a guideline for a who's who in any certain crowd that hangs out in a given zip code. Or a mailing list generator for profiteers, groups or house party throwers.

**to the free feed readers,, every site has it's tools for your use if your a paid member. Not unlike any country or social club membership has it's perks. Full access to a "swingersite" makes a difference if your wanting to give it a go. Certs are just a small tool within a site....Nothing more ...Nothing less

Haha. I initially read "cents" instead of "certs."

T, what my screen lacks in height, it makes up for in width :-)

You are kind, sir. I certainly don't think we do, but it's not all about me...lol

We have removed all evidence of our long-windedness (or should I say, stamina )

;)

In our previous incarnation, We always wrote notoriously long certs, but that's just us...

We stopped accepting certs this time around. Perhaps we are not fully committed to the process.... ;p

My computer screen is really small because I'm compensating for my giant wang.

Oh great, another screen size queen ;-)

We are not fans of long winded overly detailed certs. For the most part, a short complimentary cert is all we look to find on someone else's profile. We really don't need to read a whole book to find out about you...we'll fuck ya just using cliff notes ;-)
