J, those colorful characters in real life are always more interesting than any fictional characters. I have a friend who seems to come across far more than his share of such characters, and I have spent many delightful late nights with a bottle of good bourbon while listening to only slightly embellished tales of characters he has known.

Thanks for the welcome. I don't think I can keep up with the forum regulars, but it's fun to drop in occasionally. RieRie's whole family actually worked at that place, including her 83 year old mother, Lulu. So it was RieRie, Lulu, ChopChop and Barb. There was a diner nearby where we would sometimes go and they enjoyed telling the other customers they were strippers. I've often thought it would be fun to write a sitcom based on that place, but the difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense.....and that place never made sense. Oh I made a mistake, some strippers get paid the most by having sex with customers. lol
Then they arent strippers, they are prostitutes. BIG difference. Many younger ladies put themselves through school by stripping, not by selling their bodies. That is one if the biggest issues these girls have, nimrod guys who think they are "for sale" These men get escorted out. |
