It is a good question, and I have advised people to do that in the past. But if you don't like these kind of threads started by MDP, why post in them? If you want to talk about farm animals, why not start your own thread? |

Honestly Wayne your inconsistent moderation causes more conflict than all of our jabs combined. A week ago you told me you were stepping back from moderating the forums because you had more important things to do and now you come in here to chastise me for asking why someone who clearly justs wants a place to blog is using a forum for that purpose.
If YOU stayed away Wayne and only responded to serious violations, this would all work itself out. |

I have no problem with any of those reason what-so-ever! I have a problem with people who have been fighting for years and years continuing to fight with each other after they have been told time and time again to ignore each other! On any other forum, many of you would have been permanently banned. In fact several of you were permanently banned from here and me being overly nice and overly compasionate, I let you back in. Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. |

REPOST..... Because I'd really like an answer from the CUSTOMER SERVICE empolyee of this site that I paid for........ I post in very few threads compared to MANY, but those I do it's because I feel like it. Sometimes it's to correct a mistake I think somebody has made. Sometimes it's just to flirt. Most of the time it's to add my thoughts to a discussion that's taking place. Which of those reasons do you have a problem with......as Forum Moderator??????? |

Wayne, while I would not dare purport to speak for FJ, he and others already explained that conflict stimulates passion.
To me engaging in hard conversation while keeping it as civil and polite as possible stimulates thought and creativity. Some people tease me for being far too "pollyanna" (not related to being polyamorous), but they have no fucking clue how much work it takes to try writing stuff that is both provocative and polite. |
