I watched a few minutes of SOA to see what the hype was about. I don't get it either. I guess it just takes a lot more to draw me in, or I'm really, really demented, but American Horror Story has kept me interested.

I've never watched that one either. I guess I prefer more hardcore stuff. Same as I like my porn. LOL

i watched about 5 mins of the very first episode of SOA, turned it off and never went back. it's a shame, but they missed an opportunity here. if this show had come from showtime or hbo, they might have had the opportunity to at least approach some level of realism in that world. it has done well, but with the right network, it could have blown the doors off the tv world, "sopranos" style. as is, it's a silly little pg-13 soap about doods on bikes. real bikers find it absolutely hilarious.

some shows can work for vanilla tv, others just can't.

I started watching SOA on netflixs as a trend mill show then got hooked once I was caught up. Myself not being a avid reader I can only guess it's just like a reader gets committed to a book. Once one starts they want to finish it to see how it ends. I couldn't imagine starting a book and just walking away from it after investing the time to begin with.

I'm pretty much like that with any show I commit to, I like to watch the characters develop, that takes time. At the moment being the final season of the show it's a who the hell is going to die next and how. On the after show I found out that The character that was "Otto is the head writer of the show, I didn't know that before. I knew he was married to Katey Sagal but had never seen a picture of him before. The writing of SOA is dark and explores the underbelly of society that's interesting, those fans that buy the shirts and crap I don't get in the least bit. I would feel like a real schmuck to wear a fictional biker club anything. I literally do laugh out loud when I see someone wearing SOA gear.

Biker types that complain that the show isn't anything like being in a MC, well DUH, it's a TV show dingbats. Reality check TV doctors are not real doctors either....lol

I myself find game shows and cooking shows boring and how anyone can watch any shopping network show is beyond me.

Jax is fucking fine! Is his wife dead? I haven't watched that show in since forever. I found her hot with that dark hair, etc.

I don't know how people watch SOA. Other than Jax being eye candy the topic is the same old shit, different players. They're fighting the Iris sh, they're fighting the Russians, the authority that they're getting away from, wash, rinse, repeat. Maybe it's just me.

Gina, there isn't anything wrong with it, I just don't have time for it in my life. Trooper fences some evenings, I dance, kids have girl scouts, choir events, school events, horse care/riding. Trooper and I would like to go back to taking salsa/latin dance lessons. we just tend to fill most non-sleeping hours with other things. I do tend to have on HGTV while I clean and work around the house, craft etc. Kids usually get to watch about an hour between finishing homework and barn time. They get a choice between TV and Wii. Some people would say we are too busy and that we need to chill more. There is no right and wrong!

For the shows I'm a fan of I find it very interesting. In the big picture I would think it's a marketing ploy to get the viewer to their web presence for hidden extras, like DVD bloopers and such.

I never really go there, with the exception of viewing live tweeting during Big brother or survivor. That is a show unto its own with millions of people partaking.

ff: A friend told me they did something like that for Scandal. I've never watched an entire episode of that and I love Kerry Washington.
