We got hooked on The Following by friends at work, watched the first few episodes on Hulu. Sad theres only 3 episodes left.

Direct TV has a winner in ROGUE, good show so far with only 2 episodes so far but pretty good none the less. But, when I want the humor of mindless TV I like Duck Dynasty

Yea, I like that too. Many/most of them are already more experienced and established, if not naturally gifted. Nothing ridiculous!! and not even ...that many really bad singers. Sometimes I just think it was a crappy song choice. They do try to play the sympathy card though with most of the 'life stories', lol, but some of them are a little touching some times. I always get a kick out of 16 years olds that ...have been working so hard all their life. lol

The Mrs watches The Voice, so I do by proxy sometimes. The reason I like it is that the only people there are people who belong there. They don't put screaming lunatics up for us to laugh at like on American Idol.
The singers range between "pretty good" and "excellent". "Pretty good" is not good enough. |

I agree, The Voice is different. I love seeing the sincere enthusiasm they have for the 'unseen' talent they want, and that they (the judges) really do want to win as well too.
I did like the end of America's Got Talent last year. They get pretty enthusiastic too and had some AMAZING talents on it. Not sure it will be the same without Sharon Osbourne tho. (I think she's leaving?) oh well... lol |

I am really enjoying The Voice this year. It seems very unscripted and all the judges seem very genuine about the talent and with each other. All 4 are absolutely beautiful!! ...and funny as hell too! :)
I'm not a fan of these battle rounds coming up though. Does anyone watch Nashville? I keep trying but it's not working... |
