Conference? Hell, just winning the SEC west division this year ought to qualify for play in the NC game. The conference right now is pretty stout, but pendulums have a way of swinging. |

I am surprised you would post that based on your age and locale. It is usually the younger guys from the south who have no historical perspective. The SEC has had a nice run the past 10 years but as evidenced buy any statistical analysis, with the exception of Alabama, no SEC school has had the long-term success of the Ohio States, Michigans, Oklahomas etc. I wonder if the academic standards of SEC schools were raised to the same level as the Big Ten and other power conferences if the SEC would have the same success. |

I would say Ted Ginn Jr. was the exception, overall team speed seems to be lacking when we go up against other top programs, especially on defense.
DeVier Posey is also coming back from suspension after the Colorado game so hopefully we will see a better passing game. |

Ohio State churns out NFL caliber linemen (offensive and defensive) the way PSU used to crank out linebackers but as we keep seeing when playing SEC teams (as well as other Florida or West coast teams), we can't seem to attract the pure speed players (WR & DB)
