I don't bet on sports, but if I did I would take Arkansas and the points. I think it will be a closer game. Nic, Arky has four receivers who light it up this year even without Mallette.
I'd also bet on LSU to beat the spread. |

Saban is a narcissistic, egocentric, prima donna but a great coach and a defensive mastermind. Petrino at Arky is a prick too, and an offensive mastermind. Should be a good battle.
West Va. and Virginia Tech are two schools rumored to be candidates for SEC expansion; LSU vs WV could be a preview of future in-conference battles. |

Hard to imagine Arkansas being better this year without Ryan Mallet and Alabama certainly remembers the close call last year. I would guess a double digit win, holding Arkansas under25 points.

Agreed Fun, that should be a great game. I am pulling for Bama, not a Sabin fan. Another offense vs defense match-up this week is LSU vs West Virginia, although I think the LSU D is going to win out on that one.

lol I knew that. Even if it weren't in jest, I'm so laid back it wouldn't have bothered me.
Anyone have a take on Arkansas v Alabama? I love a matchup between a really good offensive team like Arky and a shut down D like Bama. |
