Memphis had back-to-back rookie of the years. Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans. It has nothing to do with the fact that it was Cal or it was Kentucky.

As a previous poster noted, you are starting to sound like a homer. UK is not the only top tier program in the country so yes, Cal DOES have to compete for players and if you think places like Duke or NC aren't on the same level as KY, then you are kidding yourself. I'll use the Lance Armstrong analogy again. Just because he got away with it for years under the heaviest scrutiny doesn't mean he didn't cheat. Time with tell with Cal but he either cleaned up his act or just got better at hiding his indiscretions and history indicates the latter is more likely.

Same thing he did at Memphis. We were getting top 5 classes while Tubby couldn't get a top 10 class at UK.
But he's still a cheater. |
