OK, OK, OK- Mr Heat, Rick... My post was not really MY actual prediction, but reflective of the mood of Pittsburghers. My post was in Pittsburghese, the native language out here.

Nic, I have seen those type of "fans" as well. I'm not one for watching college football at all. College football, like high school football is better to be at the game than to watch it on the tube, at least for me. Shit, I am a huge fan of pro ball, but you wouldn't see me in any Steeler clothes or any other for that fact. I refuse to pay $50 for a shirt, when that $50 can be spent on other things. That doesn't mean I don't support my team, just think it is a huge waste of my hard earned bucks.
Personally, I wish there was more boxing on the tube (not pay per view). There are no worthy American heavy weight boxers anymore. Jan |

I have watched football for years, and even though I was not in that era, I watched re-runs of the great teams of old. I will stay with my claim that the Stiller organization is one of the greatest ever. Green Bay was and still is one of my favorite teams, but being from around the burghmost of my life, and following my Stillers, I would never go against them, win or lose, they are da bomb.

I think I saw the early line was Green Bay -2.5. Maybe giving the Packers the edge for speed on turf? I would be more worried about Mike Wallace getting behind the Packer secondary but I will be rooting for a 1 point win by the Packers.
That means my pick is for the Stillers to cover the spread but my heart is with the Pack to win it! |
