Kibbles, thank you. I will add the antihistamine as you suggest. No, I looked at the Benadryl and thought nah but now that you mention it, yes I will and will let you know the outcome.

luckily I'm fine since we don't use straw in our barn. Most of my allergies went away when I got pregnant. I joke that if I had known it would cure my allergies I would have done it years earlier.

Two of my best photo shoots were in haybarns, and I "paid" for it for days afterwards. NOWADAYS, I can barely even go outside when my yardman is here, because the reaction is almost immediate. I really need to see an allergist and get the series of shots and try to regain the ability to enjoy the outdoors. I used to LOVE going down to Berheim Forrest and hike the trails and stuff like that.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. While I no longer have asthma attacks other then when I get around straw or smoke, it seems those two things are pretty much a sure bet for me to end up wheezing and most likely sick after exposure.

BLT, I am literally allergic to tobacco smoke. I'm starting to wonder if you might also be. Are you taking antihistamines to help clear it up? Treat it like a respiratory allergy, like if you get "hayfever" and see what happens. From what you've said, my gut says it will probably help.

Seduction and 2SleepyHeads: I like my ciroc red berry frozen too. Actually, I prefer all my liquor cold. I can feel you with food about ciroc as it is really sweet. However, Stoli is excellent straight with savory food and the Goose is just the top of the top shelf IMO. Right now, I am still sipping hot tea for my throat. All that smoke seems to have given me a slight pulmonary issue that is a bitch to get rid of! It has to be gone by next week as I have to get on a plane and who wants to get on a dirty flight coughing....LOL.

I used to like Ciroc, but us Russians, we do shots with savory foods, and it just doesn't go well with that. It's more of an after dinner vodka as far as I'm concerned.

My wagon is drawing near to close, March 31st. My favorite flavored vodka is Ciroc Red Berry with some cranapple juice...it is heavenly. Grey Goose is the best tasting vodka in the world to me. I've never had the Magnum and definitely won't be buying it personally. The last thing I need is another indulgence! I am sipping on more diet Pepsi. I had dinner at Carrabbas (sp) and had an Irish soda...club soda with a splash of raspberry syrup or something. It was good.
