BLT, one of those is a sour mash and one is not, can't recall which, and that's why you prob didn't like it. Try some Crown, Canadian Mist, etc. Smoother. Even Seagrams is a bit smoother.
Said the whiskey/water girl. My drink used to be Captain Morgan and Diet Coke (sounds awful right now), until I realized how much sugar is in rum, and needed to make a switch to something w/o soda, and an alcohol w/o so much sugar. Was a pretty easy switch. The ONLY shots I can't do one after another are tequila shots. Agh. Some of my friends know my "tequila story." |

Mr. LC would love to have margaritas with you! I'm not a big fan of tequila straight. I do know the difference between silver, reposado and anejo and can taste the difference in a margarita - also I never have a hangover after reposado margaritas, but might with lesser tequilas. The margaritas last night were fantastic - best I've had, and only the ones I make at home beat them.

I am definitely a Jack Daniels gurl as most know. However, while shopping for booze in Barbados several years back, they were out of it and sold me Jim Beam saying "it's the same thing." It is not and didn't like it. Now I don't know if it's the proof that's mentioned here but I never bought it again. Anyway, I am still on water and tea but feeling much, much better. The Today Show had a segment on something that I can't recall but they all the top shelf liquors on their bar and I peeped the Woodford Reserve, which I also love....oh, yeah, the Goose was there too!

A friend and I were drinking Hornitos straight last night.
Seems like a shame to water down tequila like that. |
