"There's a great vodka tasting ice bar in Atlanta. It's a vodka snobs wet dream come true :-) "

I need to go there. If for no other reason then for retaliation on Trooper for all the Tequila and Bourbon bars I have been made to go to.

*Who puts vodka on the dinner table?*

Oh dear...looks like we need to show how to drink vodka the right way :).

*I mostly mix vodka, so I do the cheap stuff for that. Straight booze is almost always whiskey of some kind. *

I love Belvedere or the Goose on the rocks...You couldn't pay me enough to go near Whiskey, Cognac, Bourbon etc... just not my thing.

I can drink Belvedere until the cows come home and not feel a thing. For the straight vodka drinker, I could put Goose on the table in an ice bucket as I would a good champagne. I rate it that highly; haven't done it but would have no problem. What happened to the Tequila drinkers? A Patron Margarita with some Grand Mariner is nice.

No self respecting Russian, will ever, be caught with Smirnoff on their dinner table!

:)

Belvedere, as they say, "that's where it's at!"

I'm definitely not attacking it. It's a purely individual choice.

Damn, that was good bourbon. *was*.

There is a really nice whiskey bar out here. Something like 300 different types.

But it is in one of those hip areas. I'm not allowed in those areas...

I must defend the Goose. However, I don't drink vodka straight. I can drink the darks straight like Jack or Woodford Reserve and even Jameson and Crown. I retired Stoli years ago.

"Worse one is Grey Goose - "

I really don't like Grey Goose straight, although I have a bottle. My fave for that is Stoli.

No. I admit I had forgotten about it.
