GOOGLE and the Internet is both a blessing and a curse. From the quick look/see I did it would suggest that moderate coffee drinking be it regular or decaf is not directly linked to bladder cancer but when combined with other lifestyle issues such as drinking and smoking could potentially raise one's acquiring cancer. So, like all things in life, moderation is key. I know for a fact that caffeine can cause MY blood pressure to elevate so that's another reason I am cautious.

THAT I'm not sure about, the study I read was directly in reference to decaf coffee. If the process to decaffeinate it is the same, I would believe the risk would be similar. I'd have to read up to see if there's any literature mentioning anything other than coffee.

4 cups of coffee was necessary to keep from falling asleep since all I had to do this morning was stare at a display and press a button two times within 10 seconds of a call out alarm system that had between 30-59 minutes to respond from when I originally pressed the button the first time.

OT: trying out limited release Apothic Rose. Verdict: I like it, but I think I'm a bigger fan of the original Apothic Red

BLT, please be careful. Studies released over the past few years are linking decaf coffee with bladder cancer. Something about the process. My well-intentioned grandmother switched my grandfather off of coffee and onto decaf and he later developed bladder cancer, so when the studies were released a few years later, it really struck a nerve with me.
