We were all saddened hearing about the children killed today and all those killed at the movie theater in Co. Events like these are hearbreaking and tragic. Other threads will discuss our heartfelt regrets that this has happened, But I want to throw a thread for us to discuss how we can come up with a solution to hopefully be able to change what Bob Costa mentioned during his half time comments the other night. How do we change the Gun Cullture that is becoming more prevelent in our society? A frank and open discussion must start somewhere. This is not ment to be a gun or political discussion. We all have our peresonal opions about guns and we all have our own opions on how to protect our communities. I would hope that a serious discussion will continue here and we try to understand why.

No, even though there are those who propose elimintaing football in school becasue it's too dangerous, I am for football in schools. There should be no playing with guns ever. I find it harder and harder to take your posts seriously.

User Details are only visible to members.	*Nobody has broken into someone's liquor cabinet and killed a bunch of people with it* Perhaps , but plenty have willingly imbibed too much and then willingly driven thus causing accidents that have killed men, women children , aunts uncles, grand parents, maimed, crippled, burned , or scarred innocent people for life by such careless and ruthless selfish acts. Look at the amount of people have died by the hands of intoxicated or high person driving compared to that of gunshot. If ending sensless death and harm then surely more would be done to see to it that no more people would EVER be able to drive drunk or stoned EVER again.
